club to provide students information and experiences about careers in
science, engineering, and computers, to encourage students to pursue
careers in those fields and/or be science literate citizens |

Yearly Activities |

Host speakers in various
fields of engineering; visit engineering companies; tour FIU and/or UM's
School of Engineering labs; participate in county SECME competition (that
includes brain bowl, math and computer competitions, bottle rocket, mouse
trap car and egg drop competition, etc.); attend Kite Flying Festival on
Miami Beach; also participate in Panther Prowl and present physics and
engineering demonstrations at elementary schools |
