The Israeli Film Festival is a 4 day event
showcasing popular Israeli movies here at
Hillel. Each night a different movie will be
shown and food will be served. The movie
selections include Shoshelit Shwartz (The Legacy
of Schwartz), The Hesder, Lalechet al hamayim
(Walking on water), and Ushpizin.

Tuesday, March 21
Election Reflection
Hillel, 8pm
Get prepared for the upcoming Israeli elections
with Election Reflection. This political,
interactive program highlights Israeli politics
in a group discussion. Led by educators from
Israel, this 90 minute program educates all who
attend on the many intricacies that Israeli
politics are currently involved in.

Hillel’s Ruach Chaim Series presents Harold
Kushner, author of the popular best selling
novel on liberal theology, When Bad Things
Happen to Good People. Kushner has written a
number of popular theological books, with his
most recent contribution as an editor of Etz
Hayim: A Torah Commentary, the new official
Torah commentary of the Conservative Movement,
which was jointly published in 2001 by the
Rabbinical Assembly and the Jewish Publication
Society.

the critically acclaimed series, The Sopranos,
actress Jamie Lynn Sigler will speak about her
struggle as a woman in show business. This
Jewish actress is being brought to you as a role
model for Woman’s History Month 2006.

The Ambassador
Hillel, 6pm
Now in its second season, The Ambassador,
Israel’s hit reality TV version of The
Apprentice, pits 6 participants against one
another. The winner gets a one-year tenure
representing Israel to the world. This season,
The Ambassador is coming to UF, so come watch
their promotional videos at Hillel with us.
You’ll be able to vote in the selection
processes, and have the chance to be filmed and

Relay For Life
The O’Connell Center, 5:30pm
Relay For Life is an overnight event to
raise money for the American Cancer Society.
Each team is required to have at least one
member on the track the entire evening. JAM and
JSU will be participating in the event together
as a team.

Remember banging on the tables or dancing around
to your favorite Friday Night melodies? Relive
those moments tonight at Hillel when JAM takes
you back to your Jewish Youth Group/Camp days.
From the classic service tunes to the all too
memorable food and songs, we’ll be hosting
services, followed by Dinner, Ruach, and Birkat
Hamazon. The fun starts at 6:30pm so don’t be
late

Jewish Art Festival & Marc
Chagall Contest
Harn Museum
Look into the long history of Jews and art with
a Manischevitz Wine and Cheese event. Spend time
with other Jewish students interested in art at
this semi-formal event. JAM will be giving out
the first annual Marc Chagall Prize for best
piece of art by a University of Florida student.
