Campaign
As one of the final class assignments for my Advertising
Copywriting and Visualization class, each student had to create an
ad campaign for a consumer product targeted to an unconventional
audience. The campaign consisted of three ads with a
consistent theme, as a real campaign would have. In each ad,
the headline, copy and product tagline are original, as well as the
concept and layout. The product I chose to use was TiVo, and
these are the ads I produced. The ads were targeted to
seniors, an unconventional audience as my research proved most
seniors couldn't work a VCR or a computer, let alone a TiVo.
My ads tried to emphasize TiVo's ease of use, and they highlighted
the convenience TiVo offers of never needing to remember to program
your favorite shows. I used the tagline, "Redefining Remote
Control" to stress how the consumer can go on living life and not
worry about having to record.
