Vikram Murali President

Following the tragic deaths of Helen Witty and Jose Menendez, Vikram Murali created Ride for Hope in 2003 as a means to prevent future tragedies. He is a senior at Miami Palmetto Senior High, and plans to major in Piano Performance with a future career in musical theatre accompaniment. Mr. Murali previous worked as a systems engineer at Inecta LLC, a business software solution firm, and Mobilestop.com.
David Weinberg Director of Community Affairs

Born in Oklahoma, brought up in Maryland, and schooled in Florida, David Weinberg attends high school at Miami Palmetto Senior High. He plans to attend an undergraduate research program where he will major in biology with a concentration in genetics. He previously performed research at the University of Miami Tissue Biomechanics Laboratory as well as the Florida State University Neuroscience Laboratory. Mr. Weinberg’s honors include being named a National Merit Semifinalist and Rensselaer Medal Winner.
Jenna Chin Director of Exhibitions

Jenna Chin is a senior at Miami Palmetto Senior High School.  Recently accepted to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, she hopes to pursue a career dealing with forensic science and chemistry, possibly majoring in French as well.  Besides concentrating on schoolwork, she enjoys horseback riding and practicing Jeet Kune Do, the martial art developed by Bruce Lee.

Aliya Ellenby is Director of Underwriting for Ride for Hope, where she oversees relations with our corporate partners. A senior in high school, she plans to pursue a career in theatre. In addition, she is the president of Thespian Troupe 1298, the troupe of Helen Witty. Previously, Ms. Ellenby served as underwriting director of musical productions of Anything Goes and Oklahoma!.
Jordan Sheckman Director of Media and Web Design

Currently a senior at Miami Palmetto Senior High School, Jordan Sheckman backs Ride for Hope's media campaigns and the design of its website. In the future, he hopes to pursue a career in video production or advertising.
Ellen Guller Director of Finances

Ellen Guller is a senior at Miami Palmetto Senior High. Currently, she is the treasurer of Thespian Troupe 1298. She was active in the Helen Witty Walkathon two years ago. Recently, she was accepted to UNC-Chapel Hill and hopes to participate in theatre throughout college. In her free time, she is an avid rock climber. 
Matt Winston Director of Advocacy

Matt Winston is completing his senior year at Miami Palmetto Senior High. He has recently been accepted to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with hopes of majoring in mathematics. He is an avid pianist and, "if time allows," he aims to receive a degree in piano performace, as well.
