Welcome
to Seiwakai Karate taught by Daniel Blezio, 4th degree
Blackbelt. The International Combat Karate Organization
Seiwakai was founded in 1997 by Shihan Ademir da Costa,
based on his experience of more than 20 years (at that time)
as a Kyokushin Karate practitioner, world-renowned fighter,
well-succeeded instructor and one of the most respected
members of the Board of Directors who were in charge of the
Kyokushinkai Organization in South America.
The name Seiwakai was born in Japan, where Shihan Ademir was
assisted by specialists in the Japanese Language in order to
make sure that his karate style would be called after a
meaningful name, able to express the concept of his own view
of Budo Karate.
The kanji "SEI" represents the permanent pursuit of a goal
with extreme effort; the kanji "WA" refers to the spiritual
harmony between individuals and universe; the kanji "KAI"
stands for "organization."
The Combat Karate Seiwakai has kept as essential elements
all the traditional foundations and basics created by the
late Sosai Mas Oyama, with whom Shihan Da Costa had the
privilege to train directly.
The term "combat" was adopted because it reflects a more
diverse concept of fighting.
Through the evolutionary vision of an outstanding fighter,
the Combat Karate Seiwakai differs from other martial art
styles for being more practical and effective; since it
prepares its practitioners for all aspects of fighting.
